I have been a licensed hairstylist since 2005 and I'm a bona-fide hair nerd!

Born and raised in Placer County, I'm a girl who sets down roots and makes strong connections. I love being apart of the community I serve, and my guests quickly become life-long friends.

​

Although I grew up styling the hair of everyone who would let me, I had always planned to become a teacher. It wasn't until I was about to graduate high school that I suddenly changed course and enrolled in Cosmetology school. Now I find that both paths frequently meet as education is so intertwined in my career. Whether it's searching for new education myself, educating other artists, or educating my clients on how to re-create the magic we accomplished in the salon. I find myself always learning and always teaching.

Education continues to be a cornerstone of my business model. In May of 2021, I began the process of mastering a new specialty of NBR Extensions. Currently enrolled in the DKW Styling Academy, I hope to soon be graduated and replace my "Certified Artist" status with a "Licensed Artist" status. With that comes the personal recommendation from the Owner and Lead Educator of Natural Beaded Rows that my work meets her very high standards.

I also recently re-joined the J Beverly Hills Education team! I previously educated for 5 years with this Luxury Boutique Brand of Styling and Hair Colour products. After taking a break to have a couple babies, I am so excited to participate in their superior education so I can bring that knowledge and inspiration back home to my clients and follow artists.

​

I currently co-own Sanctuary Salon with my mother and nail technician, Julie Thomas. Once you come see one (or both) of us, you are a part of our Sanctuary Salon Family!

We are located in a spacious suite inside of Salon Sola Studios and we love the peace and privacy we can offer our clients.

As a wife and mother of 4, I can honestly say that I know how hard it is to prioritize self care. Whether it's career, motherhood, or just the never ending curve balls that life can throw, it's never been harder to put yourself and your needs first. It's also never been more important. With ever changing times and uncertainties, we need a place we can go to feel connected, to feel beautiful, to feel strong and confident.
